Animal Vinnie Sprocky Balboa Sprocket

Animal continues to produce the highest quality, best designed, and fully functional BMX parts out there. Here is another example of good rider input resulting in a practical, cool, and usefull BMX product.

The Animal Sprocky Balboa chain-wheel is also know as the Vinnie Lite sprocket. The unique design allows for the crank arm adapter to fit flush on the crank side, so that the crank arm will not dig into the sprocket. The solves a common problem with other chain-wheels on the market.

The Vinnie Lite sprocket is CNC machined from 7075 aluminum and comes with both a 19mm and 22mm adapater to fit just about any 3-piece crank set you wish to use. It is available in huge variety of anodised colors, and comes in all the popular sizes between 22 and 30T. It is made in the USA and should run you about $50 at your local shop.

  1. i have had this sprocket for close to 9 months now.it has outlasted eastern, primo, and s&m sprockets.it stands up the abuse of grinding and casing a hard ledge if your a righty grinder like i am.i think that when this one finally taco’s that i am going to get another one.i highly recomend it to all my friends but i dont need to,theyre all ready jealous.some of the snotty bike shops will run you $65 for this, but its worth it.even not being cro-moly,its still strong as hell too.
