Mankind Forward Frame
Mankind is one of the many hot new European based BMX companies to hit the scene in recent years. Specifically Mankind BMX is based in Germany. The Forward frame is the Jeff Klugiewicz signature frame.
First lets examine the construction which is full 4130 heat treated Japanese chromolly. Nest let me say that the quality and details of this frame are amazing. It features a fully integrated seat clamp, a machine headtube which accepts integrated headsets, and a fully machined mid bottom bracket shell.
Also you will note the very unique laser cut chainstay bridge which is a baseball glove - logo of Jeffs favorite ball team. This frame also sports 990 U-Brake mounts on the under side of the seat stays and laser cut 5mm thick dropouts.
This frame is built for advanced trail and park riding, but it is light enough that you could race it if you wnated too. The Mankind Forward frame is definitely burly in all the right places, but because of the adavanced engineering and heat treatment, this frame only weighs 4 lbs, 7 oz which is as much as a full pound lighter than comparable frames.
With a unique design, attention to detail, and very high quality construction, the Mankind frame is one we highly recommend. Suggested retail is approx $399 and should be available form any hardcore BMX shop.
