Here is the new Descendant Bike from Colony BMX. Inspired by the Phantom frame, this frame features a low stand over height of only 7″. Basically if you measure form the center of the BB shell to the center of the top tube/seat tube intersection – this measurement is only 7 inches. This produces a low frame height. Most frames are 8-10″, so this bike low. This is really a personal preference thing. It gives a lower center of gravity, one of the newer trends in street/park/ramp framesand bikes. We dont see an advantage for dirt riding, infact its probably a disadavantage for trails.

Retailing for approx $650, this bike is a bit pricey in our opinion. It does however feature some good quality, brand name parts, and weighs in at a respectable 24.03lbs.
