Hammer Shin Guards

Item Description

In today’s high injury and oddly pad free world of BMX, you may not recoginze these items for what they are, shin guards. Yes that’s right, they do make pads to protect your shins from getting messed up by your

pedals. This idea is not new. In fact, Hammer has been making their 2Z pads longer than any other brand on the market. These are made from single layer stretch fit neoprene in the body of the pad, the impact zone at

the front is then doubled up to cushion and protect your shins from those nasty little pins on your pedals. For extra protection, these pads are contoured on the lower edge to guard your ankles as well. The closure in

the back is adjustable by way of four velcro straps so a comfortable fit is easy to achieve. A set of these will run you about $36 at your local bike shop and they are available in sizes small thru extra large.
